This customer is a meat processing plant based in Co. Wexford. It is a family-run business that has been successfully running for 60 years. They supply a selection of beef (bone & boneless) to butcher’s etc.
Due to the running operation of this business, they have been having issues with trying to manage their cardboard & general waste properly. It is impacting their health & safety guidelines, as well as wanting to be more mindful of waste disposal for the environment.
So after completing an audit on the site, we decided to provide them with the GE500 baler for their cardboard material. For their general waste, we decided that the Husmann Portable Compactor would be the best choice of machinery.
Now, as a result, by baling the cardboard they can get a rebate as many recycling facilities would purchase baled recyclable material. The general waste is reduced in size significantly, thanks to the compactor which in turn saves money on transport fees.
